Your Role
We are seeking passionate and talented students who want to shape next-generation products at ZEISS. Integrated in a team of scientists and research engineers, you will conduct (for at least 4 months) research in digital twin solutions in the areas of physics simulations, rendering and robotics. The candidate will screen latest industry and scientific literature, implement proof-of-concepts, and will present findings to internal teams.

Your Profile
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, computer science, computer graphics, visual computing, robotics, electrical engineering or related field
Strong understanding of robotics, rendering or physics simulations
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong programming skills in either C++ or Python
Experience in ROS 2 or universal scene description is a plus
You are willing to learn and explore with a high degree of initiative and creativity
Communication and presentation skills in English and/or German
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
