Working Student (m/f/d) Squish GUI Test for a Qt Application

Join our R&D Mobile Network Analysis Software Division in München (Germany) at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks

• Get familiar with the Qt application to understand its functionalities and user interface
• Collaborate with the development team to identify the most important functions and use cases of the Qt application that need to be tested
• Use Squish to create GUI tests for the identified test cases to test the functionalities and user interface of the Qt application
• Support to develop Squish scripts to automate the GUI tests and verify the results
• Assist to execute the GUI tests and analyze the results to identify errors and issues in the Qt application
• Document errors and issues and report them to the development team
• Maintain and update the Squish scripts to ensure they continue to function correctly when the Qt application changes

Your qualifications

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, or Java)
• Experience with GUI test tools (Squish or similar) is an advantage
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills to collaborate with the development team
• Very good command of written and spoken English/German
