Job Purpose:
This entry-level position will play a vital role in supporting data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to the Human Resources (HR) function and to internal customers & stakeholders beyond HR. The primary focus will be on collecting, analysing, and interpreting people data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving people processes and initiatives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex people data into meaningful reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:- Extract, clean, and analyze HR data from our globally implemented Workday system.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize HR metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Support HR initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in HR data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR analytics projects.
- Brainstorm creative solutions to complex HR data challenges.
- Apply critical thinking to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes and reporting capabilities.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with HR team members and other departments to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Communicate findings & insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to share data insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Strong interest in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to brainstorm and develop creative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of HR analytics.
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems is a plus, but not required.
