About the Team
Our M&A advisory practice offers comprehensive financial advisory services and expert guidance. We serve buyers and sellers by providing in-depth financial and strategic analysis, identifying transaction partners, developing creative deal structures, and negotiating complex transaction terms. Our leadership position in the middle market and strong transaction activity enable us to clear the market globally in search of the best transaction partners. Job Summary & Responsibilities
We are offering talented students and recent graduates an exciting opportunity to work in the demanding field of Investment Banking (Mergers & Acquisitions) for a three-month internship from July to September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our team and gain live experience working for a global investment bank. Our program provides all interns with the unique opportunity to:
- Work alongside current Analysts, Associates, and VPs over the course of three months
- Have exposure to our main sector teams: Healthcare, Consumer & Essential Services and Services & Industrials
- Take on all functions of a full-time analyst
- Assist deal teams in live transactions
- Perform financial due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of potential and live transactions
- Receive direct client exposure in a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Draft pitch materials, information memorandums, management presentations, and other relevant communications
- Identify potential M&A and financing situations
Qualifications
Our people are our most valuable asset. The requirements for this role include:
- Exceptional academic credentials, with a degree qualification (completed or on-going) from a top-tier institution
- Bachelor and master’s degree: all subjects considered
- General understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and strong attention to detail
- High level of motivation and ability to work in a team
- Adaptability to a constantly changing environment and ability to manage through change with a high degree of emotional maturity
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for investment banking
- Strong proficiency with MS-Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions, adapt to new tasks with little notice, and to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English and German is essential
- Fluency in any other European language is highly desired
