YOUR TEAM
Our "Vehicle Energy, Motion & Body" team is looking for a working student to support on the domain areas of electric drivetrain and power electronics.
Our deliverables include machine control, application software within power electronics, cross-connected software for vehicle functionalities, as well as core functions to drive the ECU across the Volkswagen Group product portfolio. We enable future innovations, provide best-in-class driving experiences, and make a significant contribution to the overall driver experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop model-based embedded software for power electronics applications, focusing on the electric drivetrain and supporting overall vehicle performance
- Model, simulate, and control the electrical behavior of e-machines and inverters to optimize their functionality and efficiency
- Document and maintain detailed work products to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity across development processes
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled Master's student in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electrical machine control or equivalent field
- Knowledge about model-based function development with MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge about power electronics and control of electrical machines
- Team-player, willingness to learn and good communication skills
- Fluent in English and German
