We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.
Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM
T5-H - Hardware Platform is responsible for the development and validation of future ADAS embedded systems. The division handles HW Architecture, including High Performance Compute Semiconductor specification & selection, Electrical Design & Validation, Mechanical Design & Validation, as well as low-level programming.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work at the forefront of autonomous driving development within the Volkswagen Group.
- Engage in challenging tasks during the R&D phase (research and development) with innovative system solutions for autonomous driving.
- Join a strong engineering team dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of our customers’ driving experience.
- In particular, you will setup Ethernet Switch configurations for various automotive-grade Ethernet Switches, and
- Develop and implement a benchmarking methodology to measure and compare the performance of handling typical protocols.
YOU ARE
- Close to finalizing your bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field of study.
- Experienced in working on embedded systems and network protocols. Detailed knowledge of ADAS SoCs and Ethernet Switch architectures is a plus.
- A seasoned programmer in C/ C++ with knowledge of Linux/ Windows.
- Comfortable with basic handling of measurement tools like oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- A motivated and self-organized team player.
