We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied Master Thesis in the area of development thermal management system model generation. Your main task will be to implement and compare the performances of different cutting edge deep neural network architectures & data processing methods.
What awaits you?
- Conduct a literature review and gather information about thermal management system and suitable machine learning architectures that can be used to model it.
- Analyze the dataset and rank the features.
- Implement & test some of the latest & niche data processing methods.
- Implement & test the researched architectures to the problem at hand.
- Test the behavior of the trained model within the inhouse developed simulation framework.
- Present findings and recommendations to BMW colleagues.
What should you bring along?
- Must be enrolled in a master’s program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Practical & theoretical knowledge on machine learning/deep learning is a must.
- Strong knowledge on MATLAB, Python or a similar programming language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge/interest about electric vehicles is a plus.
- Excellent English skills, German is a plus.
