Tesla Energy is in the search for a Marketing Programs Intern, to join the Energy Products Marketing team in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The role of Marketing Programs Intern is to help drive growth of residential energy products, e.g. Powerwall, across the region’s countries United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal and South Africa.
The ideal candidate will support the Marketing Programs team to deliver effective lead generation campaigns, including event management – trade shows and in-store events, deliver cross-sell opportunities along with crafting impactful direct marketing campaigns by email as well as source influencer collaborations. You will also have a curiosity to test, learn and optimize campaigns and processes using data and insights to inform decisions. This role will also support our network of Tesla Powerwall Certified Installers through marketing support with timely reviews and approvals of marketing content.
About you:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong drive and sense of taking ownership who can manage multiple activities within competing and tight deadlines, you will have strong interpersonal skills and you will be proactive in uncovering and sharing new opportunities. You will be a team player and have a passion to learn.
You will be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including engineering, marketing, design, copywriters, sales and legal teams ensuring you deliver to objectives and while creating impactful marketing and communications campaigns across the region.
What You’ll Do- Assist with the planning and execution of targeted marketing plans across digital channels, social media, events, Tesla retail locations and print to achieve marketing goals
- Aid the team to develop, manage, implement and report on comprehensive email strategies to engage with key partners to support sales goals, and strengthen the relationship
- Assist with and coordinate marketing activities and logistics across the Tesla Energy organization and in collaboration with Motors teams, ensuring the timely deployment of materials and equipment needed to support these activities
- Help build impactful marketing strategy decks for internal audiences and support and work in collaboration with local stakeholders
- Support the team planning and executing in-store events and trade shows
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all Certified Installers operate within the Tesla marketing guidelines
- Coordinate documentation and assets for our key partners, making sure they are updated and available within Tesla’s proprietary platforms.
- Assist the team for the development of customer facing documents and promotional materials to support our marketing activities
- Support coordinating internal communication campaigns with other stakeholders
- Evaluate and track the success of programs and campaigns – use data to optimize and improve campaign performance and deliver detailed post-implementation report on programs
- Currently studying Marketing or another relevant field, or evidence of exceptional ability
- Level C1 in English and German (written and spoken)
- A creative attitude focused on new ideas, innovation and problem-solving big challenges
- Clear ownership mentality and willingness to drive projects
- Positive “can do” attitude, passionate and able to show commitment and to inspire others
- Experience in renewable energy being a plus
- Ability to travel (~20%) within the region, but could include global destinations
