The photodetectors developed at HHI can be found at the end of optical fibers, in scientific detectors (e.g. LIGO, ALMA), in satellites for communication with laser beams, and recently also in quantum communication and sensing applications. Be a part of our team and come on a journey of research and innovation!

What you will do

• Programming support of one of the two following topics:

  • Topic 1

    • Amending of existing software for automated chip characterization measurement stations

  • Topic 2

    • Software development of data import from measurement station to database

    • Maintenance and adaption of measurement database user interface

• Working for international industry projects

What you bring to the table

• Preferable a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or in a comparable field

• Knowledge in C++, VBA or SQL programming

• Good English or German language skills

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
