München: Working Student - Software Engineering (m/f/d)

What awaits you at HolidayCheckAs a working student m/f/d) your scope will be to support our retail engineering team by further developing our AI based solutions to normalize data and ensure the quality of our products and services. Specifically, you will support the team for 15-20 hours a week with the following activities: 

• Take care of the quality of hotel rooms in our database and implement technical solutions to benchmark and bundle rooms with the help of AI
• Enhance our hotel room bundling tool and add features according to inputs from different teams
• Conduct quality assurance testing on multiple devices and browsers before product and software implementation
• API optimisation and monitoring
• Add access control and make the tools accessible to our SSO
• Improve login infrastructure of our MyHolidayCheck page
• Benchmark our products and services against other competitors in comparable markets

What you need to succeed

• You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program with a strong focus on Engineering
• You have an eye for detail and are diligent to take care of your tasks
• You are familiar with Python or any other OOP, developing REST APIs, and basic database knowledge
• You are a fast learner and understand technological connections
• You are used to work in a technical environment
• You have very good English skills, German is a plus
