As Graduate Engineer Process (m/f/d) with a focus on pharma process design you work in the Bio Life Sciences sector at Exyte Central Europe in our regional office in Penzberg and report to the Group Lead Process Technology. In your team of highly qualified and experienced engineers you will be covering projects mainly in Southern Germany (travel time max. 30%). Mobile working is also possible, depending on the project phase.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Planning in the field of active ingredient production by means of biotechnological production processes, e.g. fermentation processes, purification processes such as chromatography and filtration techniques, as well as other biotechnological technologies
- Simulation of biotechnological production processes to optimize process flows and to determine the media and energy requirements of the plant.
- The focus in the simulation area is on the preparation of feasibility and concept studies for the construction of pharmaceutical plants
- In addition, the assignment can extend over all planning phases: from concept creation to execution including installation supervision, commissioning and qualification
- You document customer requirements, support concept development, create layout drawings, as well as flow diagrams
- You will prepare tender documents (technical specifications) and contribute to the selection of equipment by means of technical bid comparison
Show your expertise
- You have a degree in process engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceutical engineering or a similar course of study.
- You can contribute knowledge in the field of biopharmaceutical production processes. Alternatively, you are very familiar with food technology
- You bring first technical knowledge with VBA and ideally INOSIM (simulation software) as well as very good PC skills
- You are fluent in German and ideally have a good command of English. You are willing to travel a maximum of 30% of your time
- You like to contribute proactively, work with the highest degree of focus and attention to detail, as well as independently and team-oriented
