Augsburg: Manufacturing Engineering Intern (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• You will create CAD models in the field of machining for aerospace structures with multiple clamping fixtures as well as test drawings in Siemens NX and occasionally in Catia V5
• You will create and provide CAD models for 3D measurement technology and optical measurement
• You will work on PMI models in CAD and drive these forward (3D dimensioning instead of drawings).
• You will be involved in the digitization of work content and workflows.
• You will participate in feasibility studies and develop suggestions for improvement in development projects (e.g., hydrogen tanks).
• You coordinate with specialist departments such as design, work preparation, measurement technology, production, and NC programming
• You are involved in defining fixtures and requirements as a basis for equipment design
• You present the results

Your Qualifications

• Current bachelor's or master's degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering
• Good knowledge of design and manufacturing development, preferably of aerospace products and production engineering
• Very good knowledge of CAD (NX and Catia V5)
• PLM knowledge (ideally Teamcenter) desirable
• Good written and spoken English
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work
• Keen interest in space travel and new technologies
