Intern (m/f/d) Rocket Test Software Engineering, LabVIEW
Are you passionate about aerospace technology and eager to dive deeper into software development? Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as an Intern (m/w/d) specializing in Rocket Test Software Engineering with expertise in NI LabVIEW. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.
Your Tasks
- Assist in developing and refining software codebases for testing, launching, and monitoring our launch vehicle, RFA ONE.
- Support the configuration and optimization of automated testing and deployment systems.
- Provide technical support during testing activities in mission control settings.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of DAQ/LabVIEW systems controlling launch pads and test sites.
- Collaborate with senior software engineers, electrical engineers, test engineers, and IT professionals to develop hardware and network solutions for test stand data and control requirements.
- Support in troubleshooting and resolving software issues encountered during active test stands.
- Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and integration into test stands.
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated practical experience with LabVIEW
- Familiarity with at least one of the following languages: Python, C, C++, or Matlab/Simulink
- Proficient oral and written English skills (as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English
- Experience with electronics, Linux, Git and networking is a plus
