Intern Strategy & Projects: Consultant in Global Supply Chain Logistics (all genders)
The Strategy & Projects team invites you to help shape the supply chain of Bayer AG's Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health Division. We are responsible for a variety of key projects. We design the strategy to ensure that our Supply Chain delivers the optimal service, considering compliance and resilience, at the best possible cost. In doing so, we work on strategic and operational issues - around the topics of network structure, processes & organization, digitalization, and sustainability. You will gain deep insights into Bayer logistics, from the production of our products to warehousing and transport to our customers.
YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become part of a project team and work on strategy, network, process, organization, and IT solutions
- Support the team with project tasks while getting your own area of responsibility
- Assist with strategic assessments and evaluations
- Develop detailed analysis together with the team and be part of workshops, interviews, or research
- Actively contribute and implement suggestions to improve the daily work routine
- Get interesting and challenging insights into the daily tasks of the global logistics department of a life science company
WHO YOU ARE
- Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Business Administration / Industrial Engineering, preferably with a focus on logistics, supply chain management or similar.
- Motivation, interest, and initial experience in the areas of supply chain management and transportation & warehousing
- Experience in project management in an international environment is desirable
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), further- knowledge of analysis and visualization tools is an advantage
- Ability to work creatively, analytically and in a structured manner
- Strong communication skills and interest in working with international colleagues across a wide range of functions and disciplines
- Fluent written and spoken English
