Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design, and strategic engineering of our products.
In the Automotive Engineering Lab, we are researching and developing cutting-edge Vehicle Dynamics Technologies to enhance the driving experience for both personal driving and ADS (Autonomous Driving Systems) use cases.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Controls Expert in Vehicle Dynamics to research and develop advanced control systems for vehicle stability, handling, and performance in both human and ADS driving features.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in modeling control systems (e.g., for autonomous vehicles and x-by-wire systems) and will work with an experienced team to ensure vehicle performance aligns with automotive industry trends, such as autonomous driving and electric vehicles.

Your mission:- Research vehicle dynamics control for emerging technologies, such as autonomous vehicles, x-by-wire systems, and electric vehicles (EVs).
- Design control algorithms for vehicle dynamics systems, including lateral and longitudinal dynamics.
- Implement control strategies using Model Predictive Control (MPC), PID, or adaptive and robust control techniques.
- Collaborate closely with experts in the team, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
- BSc/Master’s degree in Automotive, Controls, Software, or a related discipline.
- Profound knowledge in control design for vehicle dynamics systems.
- Familiarity with vehicle dynamics fundamentals.
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
