In the portfolio area at the Stuttgart location, we are looking for a full-time intern for a limited period of 6 months as soon as possible.
The global portfolio team is spread across offices in Germany, France, Switzerland, the USA and Singapore. Working together on many projects on a global level thus offers a very varied working day in an international working environment.
We offer you an insight into all areas of portfolio management across the entire real estate investment lifecycle. In this context, the team is involved in the acquisition decision through transaction assessment and property valuation, through ongoing analysis and strategic alignment of our portfolio to potential sales processes. The portfolio we manage includes investments in Germany, Austria, the UK, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and thus allows exciting insights into very different and dynamic real estate markets.
In addition, our team handles the following sub-areas of portfolio management in particular: assessment of potential developments as well as acquisitions and sales, strategic development and optimization of the portfolio (asset strategy & business plan review), management reporting and performance analyses. We are characterized by active and open communication in cooperation with asset management, the investment team and our investors.

Tasks
- Support of all team members in the respective subject areas with detailed insight into the various areas of responsibility as well as assumption of individual areas of responsibility including independent analyses based on successful induction
- Insight into operational real estate decisions and active management of one of the largest institutional real estate portfolios in Europe
- High level of personal responsibility for (sub-)projects with insights into portfolio analysis, also in interdisciplinary and/or international projects.
- Participation in presentations and decision templates for internal/external stakeholders in a national and international environment
- Support in day-to-day business operations and administrative tasks
Requirements/Knowledge/Experience
- Student of economics or a related course of study, ideally with a real estate industry and already completed bachelor's degree
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and experience in creating PowerPoint presentations desired
- Initiative, quick comprehension and a structured and responsible way of working
- Initial experience in real estate-specific investment cash flow models helpful
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
