Current vehicles already have a large number of complex advanced driver assistance systems. By further developing and networking these assistance systems, future generations of vehicles will be able to drive in a highly automated and ultimately fully autonomous manner. In addition to these technical advancements, IAV GmbH is also constantly working on improving internal work and development processes so that they meet the challenges and complexity of future mobility projects. Some of our areas of expertise in the field of driver assistance systems are Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Pedestrian Protection, Blind Spot Detection, Parking Assistance, Light and Vision Assistance, Emergency Braking Systems, PreCrash Rear / Front / Side View, Lane Change Assist and Car2XSafety.
Your Tasks:
- Familiarization with various measurement methods for the recording of automotive Ethernet signals
- Extension of an existing Python script for automated measurement data evaluation
- Preparation and presentation of measurement data using Python
- Collaboration in the concept development for test automation in the FAS environment
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies in the field of computer science, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable (scientific) course of study
- Commitment and perceptiveness to acquire new skills
- High degree of initiative and creativity
- Ability to work in a team and open-mindedness
- Very good communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Ideally theoretical knowledge in the field of driver assistance systems
- Ideally practical experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, C programming, VBA or MATLAB/Simulink
Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly rate for this position is EUR 17.52. From February 2025, the hourly rate for this position will be EUR 18.10.
