We in Supply Chain Management, in the Inbound Logistics Engineering & Complexity Management subdivision, are responsible for the planning of logistics-compatible component design and the overall cost-minimizing design of all supply chains between the suppliers and the Mercedes-Benz Cars vehicle plants by using the scope for design in the early phase of the vehicle planning process and with the involvement of Complexity Management. For this demanding, challenging and exciting area of responsibility, we are looking for you as an intern in the Processes, Methods and Systems of Supply Chain Optimization team.
These are some of the challenges you will face
- Collaboration in the optimization and introduction of new processes, methods and systems
- Preparing and assisting with the documentation of planned and implemented processes in the system environment
- Creation of project documentation and presentations
- Joint promotion of the team in the context of various activities in the logistics process
- You are a student of industrial engineering, business informatics or economics (e.g. business administration purchasing and logistics or similar)
- You have initial knowledge of supply chain management, logistics/materials management
- You have strong analytical skills and a good grasp of complex processes
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
- Confident handling of MS Office is a matter of course for you
