As the CarIT Security Governance Team, we are entirely responsible for the cyber security management system of Mercedes-Benz AG. This includes the definition and control of guidelines, processes and methods for ensuring the cybersecurity of our vehicles, across all phases of the life cycle. We are closely linked to product development from the architecture phase to type approval/certification. As a central element, we also manage the final validation of vehicle security as part of the penetration test, as well as the interfaces to certification and authorities.
These challenges come to you:
As support for the Governance Coordinator, you will assume the following tasks as part of development projects
- Consolidation and documentation of the milestone status and creation, presentation of the monthly status report per model series
- Assisting with the creation of internal team performance management
Further task areas in the context of CarIT Security Supplier Management are:
- Development and implementation of software components for a newly planned software system in Python 3. Based on experience and interest, this task can vary and come from the following domains:
- Programming of UI elements for a website, report creation, testing, bug fixing, CI/CD, documentation, user training, etc
- Test and debug the application to get feedback. Taking on tasks in the field of test infrastructure
- Since this is a greenfield project, many opportunities will probably arise
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study
- Proficient written and spoken German and English
- Confident using MS Office
- Good programming skills in Python 3
- Good knowledge of: Pycharm, Git, Django, best practices such as Clean Code, Testing (with Behavior, PyUnit, Pytest, Selenium or similar), HTML, web development techniques or willingness to learn these skills
- Commitment and teamwork skills
- Analytical thinking and strategic approach to work
