Department Description & Job Purpose

Within Allianz Consulting, the Technology & Innovation (T&I) area is at the forefront of driving the transformation in the digital space for Allianz Group. Our consultants are working on major transformation programs within Allianz in different roles contributing and driving their successful implementation on a day-to-day basis.
As an intern (m/f/d) in the T&I consulting team, you will work at the intersection of technology and business, in a diverse team, contributing significantly to a broad range of strategic projects working closely to senior management stakeholders in a management consulting environment.
This is your chance to gain practical insights into our diverse and international business environment, work closely with experienced consultants on key projects of the Allianz Group and enhance your current studies with practical experience.
Our IT community is looking for new colleagues to join our teams and work on challenging projects close to management and executives.
Key responsibilities
- Actively support the growth of Allianz Consulting services conducting internal activities related to Operational Resilience and Risk Management , IT Governance, IT Audit & IT Project Management
- Own topics upon individual experiences and ambitions
- Contribute actively to the strategy and development of the Service offering (Resilience Consulting) & packages part of Allianz Consulting Services
- Ideate new topics, improve existing initiatives and keen interest in learning & upskilling
- Drive topics/initiatives to completion by acting as the co-owner along with topic owners
Key requirements
- Self-starter with a hands-on mentality, able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial, outgoing and have strong communication skills
- Inquisitiveness, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support consulting team by answering their inquiries
- Organizational abilities to work on multiple deliverables in parallel
- Previous experience in IT management and/or project-based work would be desirable
- Very good command of English & German (spoken and written)
- Enrollment in a German University on a Master level in IT or Business Administration
- Willingness to relocate or be based in Munich for the internship period
- Experience or understanding of Operational Resilience or Risk topics are desirable
- Willingness to work on regulatory/ Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) related topics
- You can start in January/ February 2025 and are interested in an internship for 6 months in full-time (38h/week) capacity
