As a Data Analyst Intern (or working student) at Blacklane, you will collaborate with our customer care and chauffeur care teams to drive data-driven decision-making and support the continuous improvement of our operations and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis, with a passion for deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Independently analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights, framing problems correctly, cleaning, and interpreting data sets.
  • Structure complex analytical CTEs in modeling pipelines using advanced SQL techniques, including window functions.
  • Apply analytical methods confidently to generate insights on specific issues or domain problems.
  • Manage the delivery of technical stories by collaborating with other teams and stakeholders, supporting data literacy initiatives.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, creating understandable summaries of reports.
  • Influence stakeholders by working on dashboards with company/department-wide impact, ensuring stakeholder engagement for realizing value.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Studying preferably in the fields: Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Gathered first practical experience working on data projects
  • Experience in SQL for advanced data modelling and analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and propose relevant metrics.
  • Passion for customer-centric work and problem solving
