Our Graduate Leadership Programme offers an exciting career accelerator: It’s a structured development journey of two years, based on several rotational assignments which allow you to contribute to the Synthomer strategy from day one. During the programme you will be supported through learning events, mentoring and personal development planning, as well as support key commercial projects within the commercial team. 

Key responsibilities:

• Support and lead commercial  projects to improve the value creation through team working in assigned team/wider team and managing own tasks

• Strengthen commercial activities that drive cost and performance improvement across the function/division

• Support and deliver revenue generating opportunities including building key relationships with customers.

• To provide the procurement, supply chain and other key functional teams with such data and information as is required to report on the performance of the projects and broader procurement activities

• Responsible for delivery insights and implement ideas that will have a real impact on our business

• Support strategic projects that are key to the future success of our business

• Adeptly evaluate market conditions in order to co-ordinate and broker significant business deals and working collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues across the business.

• Support and deliver key innovations to ensure the ongoing success of Synthomer.

• Owning personal develop by developing key Synthomer stakeholder relationships through coaching, mentoring and professional relationship development opportunities to enable effective onboarding into the Synthomer commercial organisation

What are we looking for:

• Relevant business/technical related degree
• Strong commercial awareness and mindset 
• An aptitude for, and interest in the chemical manufacturing business (B2B)  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills  
• Strong customer focus - building relationships internally and externally  
• Problem-solving ability 
• Strong quantitative analytical skills 
• An ability to structure and solve complex problems 
• International mobility 
• Fluent English verbal/written essential
