Intern (m/f/d) Launch Systems Engineering

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Intern (f/m/d) Launch Systems Engineering. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.

Your Tasks

• Discuss with the various project teams to set and define requirements for work packages, with limited initial inputs
• Clearly document work packages and requirements, according to company standards
• Design and analysis of major sub-systems of the launch site and vehicle interfaces (i.e. mechanical, fluidic, electrical systems)
• Contribute to the development of launch systems from concept to manufacturing (end-to-end)

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor or master study in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, Fluid Processes or Civil Fields or related discipline 
• Demonstrated experience working with complex multidisciplinary projects (i.e. in student rocketry or automotive teams)
• Able to identify the big picture and the different levels of complexity of the launch site systems
• Capable of working independently, while prioritising various tasks
• Experience with P&IDs, KiCAD or programming skills (f.i. Excel VBA, Python, Matlab) are a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English
