Intern (m/f/d) Electrical Engineering Launch

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Intern (f/m/d) Electrical Engineering to join our Launch Team in Augsburg. The Launch Team is one of the most multidisciplinary teams in all of RFA. We develop the infrastructure, systems, and procedures to assemble, test, and launch the RFA One vehicle. Our goal is to provide everything necessary to safely get RFA One to orbit! Do you want to become part of this team of dedicated systems engineers, designers, operators, and technicians? Your Tasks

• Conduct numerical calculations for the electrical power system required in infrastructure development and automation
• Contribute to the design of electrical systems on the launch pad
• Assist in designing electrical ground support systems for the launch vehicle
• Generate drawings for power and control circuits for auxiliary on-ground systems
• Support with execution and testing of electrical cabinets
• Assist in component selection and the creation of bills of material

Your Qualifications

• Enrolled in a masters/bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Good knowledge of electrical switchgears, VFD, power supplies and sensors (temperature, pressure and level)
• Good knowledge of creating power and control circuit drawing
• Basic knowledge of PLC and communication
• Basic knowledge of WSCAD
• Hands on experience (previous internship, student team) is a plus
• Capable of working independently, while prioritizing various tasks
• Able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
• Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
