We are Safran Helicopter Engines Germany GmbH, a global manufacturer of gas turbine engines and wholly owned subsidiary of Safran Helicopter Engines S.A.S., in Bordes, France. In Hamburg, we provide customer service and marketing to many countries in Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe, as well as Central Asia. The geographical area we serve contains over 300 customers with almost 2,200 engines in total. Our customer portfolio is divided into two large segments: civilian and military.

70 people are contributing daily to our development and growth at our facility in Hamburg.
Currently, our new facility, HanSafran, is being built on approximately 6,000 square meters, emphasizing our principles of growth and sustainability. With the use of solar panels, a green roof, and an energy-efficient heating and cooling system, we aim to operate climate-neutrally at Nordport in Norderstedt. And now it is your turn to join us!

We are looking for our future working student in Purchase to run a 20h contract/week for a 6-month period minimum.
As our future a purchaser administrator, you will be responsible for buying products that are essential for our company's day-to-day operation. You will oversee researching and evaluating suppliers based on different criteria: price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, supplier's reputation and history. You will purchase requisitions for goods & services, prepare and solicit request for quotations as well as creating and maintaining good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
Your responsibilities will be to:
•Follow up orders with suppliers.
•Be the first point of contact for internal customer regarding delivery dates and order status.
•Validate invoices and clarify deviations.
•Clarify non conform deliveries.
Your skills and abilities:
•Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree at a University /Fachhochschule.
•Gained working experience through internships, apprenticeships or summer job positions.
•Basic knowledge of purchasing processes and requirements.
•Fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English (B2).
•Driven to learn and develop within an international company's Purchase department.
•Familiarity with ERP systems and prior experience in Purchase would be advantageous.
•Adaptability and problem-solving skills
•Strong communication skills
