Steigerung von Adjektiven im Englischen
Adjektive im Englischen haben drei Steigerungsformen:
- Positiv — die Grundform
- Komparativ — für den Vergleich von zwei Dingen
- Superlativ — wenn etwas am meisten oder am wenigsten ist

small → smaller → the smallest
Du bildest die Steigerung mit:
- -er / -est (einsilbige Adjektive) oder
- more / most (mehrsilbige Adjektive)

Steigerung bei ein- und einigen zweisilbigen Adjektiven
Alle einsilbigen Adjektive und viele zweisilbige Adjektive, die auf -y, -er, -le oder -ow enden, steigerst du im Englischen mit -er und -est.
Wichtig: Bei der Steigerung musst du auf einige Besonderheiten achten.
