Job Purpose / Role
We are looking for a forward-thinking and results-oriented Intern (m/f/d) to strengthen our Investment Private Markets Support department. The position will be either based in our Munich or Frankfurt office and should have a duration of 6 months starting April/May onwards.
What you do
- Overseeing the management of financial data related to private market transactions including ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Analyzing quarterly reports and annual financial statements for the private debt & equity fund portfolio
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to data management and reporting to ensure that they are efficient and effective
- Manage data workflows in systems like eFront, ensuring seamless integration, regular updates, and compliance with data governance protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather, consolidate, and validate key financial and non-financial data for private market investments.
- Document processes and participate in testing system updates or enhancements to improve functionality and reporting capabilities.
What you bring
- You are enrolled in an accredited college or university studying toward a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or related fields
- You are highly interested in the fund industry and in the Private Markets and Real Assets industry
- You are proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel as well as PowerPoint) and have a strong interest or some affinity in process automation and the implementation of digital solutions (databases, workflow tools, VBA, etc.)
- You have gathered first professional experiences in the context of internships
- You are fluent in English, knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage
- You have strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and keen attention to details
- You are an excellent team player with good communication skills and a self-reliant working style
