Simple Past Übungen – Bejahte Sätze 

Anleitung: Zu jedem Übungssatz ist ein Verb in Klammern vorgegeben. Deine Aufgabe ist es, die Simple Past Form dieser Verben zu bilden und damit die jeweilige Lücke im Satz zu füllen. Wenn du fertig bist, kannst du deine Angaben ganz leicht überprüfen, indem du auf das Lösungsfeld mit dem Auge klickst.

1. Carly called (to call) Nora last night to tell her about her sports competition. 
2. I travelled (to travel) a lot last summer. 
3. Paul and Lucas danced (to dance) together at the party.

1. I didn′t/did not know (not, to know) what to do.
2. Sammy didn′t/did not say (not, to say) where she was going. 
3. Bob and Linda didn′t/did not arrive (not, to arrive) in time to catch their plane. 
4. Nora and I didn′t/did not travel (not, to travel) to Italy last summer because of the coronavirus pandemic.
5. You didn′t/did not have (not, to have) to be so mean!

Simple Past Übungen – Unregelmäßige Verben 

1. I told (to tell) you not to touch my stuff!
2. Lisa came (to come) home very late last night. 
3. Toby and I went (to go) to a concert last weekend.
4. I put (to put) my dirty clothes in the washing machine. 
5. Emma and Tim met (to meet) each other in college.

Simple Past – Übungen für Profis

1. Did you remember (to remember) to buy milk? – Oh no, I forgot (to forget). 
2. Anthony had (to have) to leave for work, but he couldn’t/could not find (not, to find) his keys.
3. What did you say (to say)? – I said (to say), did you bring (to bring) a game?
4. Carl didn′t /did not go (not, to go) to hockey practice on Saturday. He went (to go) to the beach!
5. Penny bought (to buy) new shoes and Josh got (to get) a new jacket.
